WHAT IS ALIEN STAGE?

ALIEN STAGE is an ongoing series of animations on youtube led by by VIVINOS in collaboration with QMENG and produced by STUDIO LICO. there have been a total of FIVE videos released for the series so far, with the most recent being round 5.the order:— ROUND 1 — MY CLEMATIS
— ROUND 2 — UNKNOWN (TILL THE END...)
— ROUND 3 — BLACK SORROW
— ROUND 5 — RULER OF MY HEARTwith the additional PROLOGUE video for the series that came after round one.

THE PLOT

" Alien Stage is a reality audition program which becomes a hit among aliens. Starting off the new season of Alien Stage, different stories gathered by many different participants will be sung by their own will. And in the meantime, a girl who will break the fate of humans ruled by aliens appears. "

— the following information is what i have perceived of the series setting through watching the videos, reading the interview blurbs, and various fanmade theories that seem accurate enough to be true but this should not be seen as 100% canon, just a general guide & i implore you to look into the series to determine your own opinions!

The base setting of Alien Stage seems to be as follows; Aliens invaded Earth and went to war with humans. The war ends in favor of the Aliens, and the humans go on to be taken to the aliens homeworld where they go on to be treated as inferior, often comparing and treating them to the likeness of pets & various other sources of entertainment.The focal point of the series centered around characters who were placed into ANAKT GARDEN by their parent aliens. It's heavily implied that this is where Alien Stage gathers it's future contestants for it's survival show. It is done through preliminary rounds where various students will go up against each other until a set amount is collected to which they'll eventually move on to actually participate in the show.Alien Stage itself has been shown to be an idol survival show where contestants will face each other with the price of losing being their life. The contestants are aware they will die at the end of the stage but have been raised to not fear death, and instead see it as being blessed if they die while singing. The benefits of winning seems to only be the fact you get to live, and go on to have celebrity status & obtain most career opportunities that aren't inherently avaliable to humans. Alien Stage in it's present is on it's 50th season with the featured characters below being the known contestants:

It is implied though there is a rebellion against Alien Stage and The aliens with Hyuna (pictured below) to be a member of it.

It has also been stated that Hyuna is wanted by the aliens and is considered missing.

ANAKT GARDEN — A musical specialised kindergarten advertised as a way to develop your pet-human musical literacy. || more information found here

PARENT ALIENS — More or less, the way you would call an alien who owns a pet-human.
